Dan joined Meritech in 2022 and is responsible for the firm’s data and infrastructure platform.

Prior to Meritech, Dan was a Senior Associate at Manifold where he supported Series A investments in Talkatoo, PTOExchange, and Yellowbird. He started his career as an Associate at OpenView, where he was responsible for sourcing, diligence, and support for B2B software investments - including Encamp’s Series B.  During his time at OpenView, he also built the 2020 SaaS Benchmarks, covering data from ~1,000 companies.

Dan graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in computer science. A Chicago native, he lives in Palo Alto with his wife and is a proud uncle, as well as an aspiring functional programmer.
